Hartridge Ltd is delighted to announce the appointment of Simon Quantrell as its new Managing Director, with effect from September 5th 2016.

A Fellow of the Institute of the Motor Industry and a Certified Automotive Engineer with post graduate qualifications in Business Administration & Management, Simon joins Hartridge from Delphi Product & Service Solutions (DPSS), where he has spent the last 12 years in a variety of roles, the most recent position being Supply Chain & Logistics Director (EMEA). Simon has extensive experience within the Automotive Aftermarket, specifically within the Diesel Fuel injection and Diagnostics segment of the market.  Through his 12 year tenure with DPSS Simon has worked closely with Hartridge, both in the UK and overseas, during which time Simon was responsible for Delphi’s/Hartridge’s 1st Authorised Common Rail Injector repair workshop setup, and also managed Hartridge sales and  distribution in China whilst located in Shanghai 2013-2015.

Simon commented “I’m delighted to join the team at Hartridge Ltd and to have the opportunity to work closely with so many fantastic people. I look forward to building my relationships with the organisation, and its customer base, and to be part of the continued growth and success of this great business.”

Simon will be located at Hartridge’s Buckingham headquarters and takes over his new role from Peter Ordway, who after three years leading the Hartridge business is moving on to become Delphi's Global Commercial Director of Original Equipment Service.

Peter commented I’ve thoroughly enjoyed leading the Hartridge business and shaping the strategy to secure its position as a world leader in the test equipment industry.  It has been a pleasure to work with the talented and skilled team at Hartridge alongside such as committed customer base. Simon will continue to lead Hartridge into the next phase of its development and I wish him every success for the future.”
