48 years service and still going strong...

Posted by Anne Ruff on December 12, 2013

It is not just Hartridge test benches that you can rely on for a lifetime; it is also the team at Hartridge!

Hartridge recently held a celebration lunch to recognise the many years of service provided by a number of team members. An impressive total of 8 team members were recognised for their long service records, ranging from 25 years in the business to an outstanding 48 years service. The celebration lunch was held in the glorious surroundings of Mallory Court, Royal Leamington Spa and we were blessed with beautiful weather, amazing food and great company. The photo below show some of those being commended but the full list of the 25+ years service award recipients is:

I am sure you will agree that to achieve service over so many years really is a great accomplishment and shows the absolute commitment to Hartridge by our team. On behalf of Hartridge, I would like to thank each one for their hard work and commitment over so many years, long may it continue!

Apart from retaining skilled and experienced team members we are also focused on bringing in the next generation to our team to ensure that the legacy rolls on. Hartridge currently takes part in an apprenticeship scheme: we have two students currently in the business and our hope is to add more in 2014. This has been a great success both historically and currently - two of our previous apprentices are now working full time at Hartridge, one as an Assembly Technician and the other as an Electronics Engineer.

The apprenticeship scheme is carried out in addition to the scheduled growth of our engineering and service support teams over the next year where we plan to add seven new highly skilled members to these departments.

So let me pass on my congratulations to the 'long service' achievers and also best wishes to our apprentices and new starters! I look forward to the next long service dinner and to many more years of service.
