Delphi Italy recently exhibited at the Autopromotec show in Bologna.
The chance to launch 3 new concepts at such a prestigious event was an opportunity not to be missed and Delphi were happy to be able to launch the latest additions to the Hartridge portfolio including Auto Pressure Control (HB401) for common rail pump testing, the new dedicated common rail pump test bench (CRp-PC) and the entry level IFT-70 injector tester.
The latest Hartridge equipment was on display and fully operational including AVM2-PC with Auto Pressure Control (HB401), CRi-PC demonstrating “All Makes” injector testing and Delphi Authorised C2i coding, the dedicated common rail pump test bench (CRp-PC) and the IFT-70.
The live demo’s of these new concepts created a lot of interest with customers from Italy and around Europe, bringing many new enquiries to Delphi and Hartridge.
HB401 Auto Pressure Control for AVM2-PC, provides a great opportunity for workshops to increase earnings from testing Common Rail pumps, the HB401 reduces pump test time and also frees the operator to carry out other work during the pump test, the combined effect is a potential productivity increase of 50% and associated increase in margin and turnover.
CRp-PC dedicated common rail pump test bench, available with auto pressure control, is the ideal upgrade path for workshops expanding their CR pump testing capability or starting with pump test. All the advantages of an AVM2 solution with additional time savings and productivity increases gained from quick set up times and automated test plans.
IFT-70 provides workshops with the capability to supplement vehicle diagnostics with common rail injector function testing, observation of spray pattern, and measurement of delivery and backleak up to a delivery pressure of 700 bar gives a very cost effective means to evaluate the condition or common rail injectors before a full repair is undertaken.
CRi-PC is the standard for testing and coding Delphi common rail injectors. Providing both a Delphi authorised solution and an “All Makes” program allowing the testing of Bosch, Delphi, Denso and Continental the CRi-PC offers workshops a quick and easy automated test of injectors, with cycle times starting at around 3 minutes per injector (dependent on test mode and machine configuration).
