Swadlincote Diesel doubles Common Rail Test and Repair Capability

Diesel workshop takes delivery of 2nd Four line Hartridge CRi-PC

Based in the East Midlands, Swadlincote operate from a 108,000 sq. feet facility with 15 staff dedicated to vehicle and Diesel system diagnosis and repair. As an authorised Delphi Diesel Repair Centre they can offer authorised repair of Delphi Common Rail Pumps and Injectors as well as an “All Makes” test program for Bosch, Denso and Siemens.

Over the past 3 years Swadlincote have invested heavily, to be able to provide a comprehensive authorised and “all makes” test and repair service for modern diesel fuel injection systems. The investment in Hartridge test equipment started with an AVM2-PC for in-line and rotary test work, expanding to common rail pump repair with the addition of the Hartridge “All Makes” CR pump test equipment.

 In 2007 they took delivery of their first 4 Line CRi-PC, Stand Alone Common Rail Injector tester, and quickly upgraded the facility to enable Delphi approval of the workshop by adding the HJ044 Delphi upgrade kit to the bench, and Microdiesel clean cabinet to provide a workshop meeting the stringent standards for Delphi Common Rail Injector and Pump Repair.

Swadlincote’s Common Rail Injector service proved to be successful and in 2008 the volumes of Delphi Authorised work and C2i coding combined with the “All Makes” testing program justified the purchase of a 2nd  4 line CRi-PC. The workshop is now set up with one CRi dedicated to Delphi C2i coding and the latest machine used for “All Makes” testing including Bosch, Denso and Siemens.
